The E. B. Grandin Press where the Book of Mormon was first published. Martin Harris mortgaged his farm for $3000 to pay for it. (about $400,000 in today's money) Palmyra Temple after a light storm. It is fittingly located on the old Joseph Smith, Sr. farm and overlooks the Sacred Grove. Singles ward tour enjoys skipping flat rocks at the Susquehanna River near where the Aaronic Priesthood was restored. Joseph and Oliver often enjoyed this same diversion.

Susquehanna at foot of wagon trail coming down from Isaac Hale property. Very likely spot for the John the Baptist visit. The dense forest on either side makes it difficult to walk anywhere else. Monument commemorating the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery. The lovely Susquehanna River where it took place is about 200 yards behind the monument. TOP: Whitney Store in Kirtland with period goods.
BOTTOM: Joseph and Emma’s living rooms on the second floor. They lived there about a year.
Tour members enjoy presentation at the Morley farm describing the visions and revelations that were given there. Tour guide conducts tour of old Kirtland Temple Cemetery, relating interesting and some-times humorous accounts of the lives of people who are buried there. What adjective can you use to describe an after hours private tour of the Kirtland Temple that concludes with singing The Spirit of God Like a Fire is Burning?
