12th Annual Twelve Days of Christmas PAST – December 4-15, 2022
Let’s enjoy the spirit of Christmas! Read our inspiring stories gleaned from Church History’s Christmases Past intermixed with special Christmas stories submitted by our awesome MHA staff/guides & tour members, then enter our daily prize contest by commenting (available each day) to answer a question about the story. Exciting daily prizes are from our travels both near & far!
The daily stories will be posted on our website BLOG from December 4 thru December 15.
TO ENTER THE CONTEST, simply answer the story’s question by commenting on our BLOG or our FACEBOOK page’s daily post about that day’s blog story.
- All comments will be entered into a random drawing for a daily prize bundle (valued at $190-$320/day!). All entries are automatically entered into the Grand Prize drawing valued at $700 (shipping not included).
- Answers and the daily winner will be posted on our BLOG and FACEBOOK page the following morning. Prizes must be claimed by Dec 30, 2022 (or forfeited).
- Local prize pickup available (in West Jordan, Utah); shipping within US available but not included for Grand Prize.

Our hope is that this activity, with a peek into Christmases Past, will help us all to appreciate the Christmases of simpler times and to learn something new to inspire us this holiday season. 12 Days of Christmas Past, 2022 Rules:
Entrants must be 18 years or older to participate and must be a resident of the United States. Prize winners will be notified via our website BLOG and on the Mormon Heritage Association FACEBOOK page (the morning after each story is posted). Prize winners must contact MHA to claim their prize and must either provide their address for mailing their prize OR prizes can be picked up at MHA West Jordan Utah office, by appointment–prizes picked up at MHA office will receive an additional prize valued at $10. Daily prize shipping included within U.S.; Grand prize shipping NOT included. If no response from a day’s winner to claim any prize by Dec 30, 2022, prize is null and void. MHA ensures privacy with all contact information. ENTRIES: One comment per person, daily, on the website BLOG or FACEBOOK post is considered an entry into the daily prize bundle random drawing; an additional entry can be gained by “sharing” our daily post on your own Facebook profile (if your privacy settings allow your name to appear). There is potential of receiving a total of 2 entries for each daily prize bundle, per person (commenting & sharing).
Daily prize bundles are valued at approximately $190-$320. All entries are automatically entered into the Grand Prize drawing valued at approximately $700.
The “legalese”: Entries must be received by 10pm Mountain Standard Time, daily through the contest period, for eligibility. We cannot be responsible for any computer, online, telephone, or technical malfunctions that may prevent or postpone your entry’s receipt. Your entry will become our property once we receive it, and it will not be returned in any format. Your odds of winning a daily prize bundle will depend upon the number of eligible entries received that day (estimated chance of winning daily prize: 1 in 30). By entering, you agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions we make regarding this contest, which are final and binding on all matters. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not enter the contest. By entering, you grant us the right to use and publish your name online, in print, and in any other media in connection with the contest. You also grant us the right to use your name for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless this is prohibited by law. Jurisdiction and Venue: Utah law applies to this contest. Void where prohibited for any reason. All disputes resulting in legal action shall be resolved in the courts of Salt Lake County, state of Utah and Entrant consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts. If MHA should find it necessary to seek legal assistance to enforce its rights, its damages, if any, shall include its reasonable legal expenses and fees. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest or any contestant(s) if anything required for its conduct should malfunction or be deemed illegal.
We assume no responsibility for anything that happens outside of our control to delay or prevent your entry, and we assume no responsibility for anything within our control that delays or prevents your entry except where by the exercise of ordinary care we could have kept it from happening or promptly corrected it.
